My body and my Schwinn Stingray were very abused thanks to this guy's influence. I was saddened to see that he passed away this week. I was impressed with his testimony in the following clip.

Determination

Many of you know I have taken up cycling! I am hooked! Every ride is a challenge. How fast can I go? How far can I go? How high can I climb? I like challenges.

I ran across THIS VIDEO that was really inspiring on so many levels. Here's a guy with a definite disability who refuses to give up. He rises from being homeless to owning his own business. He is an overcomer!

As believers, we have the help of Christ to accomplish everything. Maybe it's the determination we lack. Just thought I'd share something that encouraged me!

One More Reason To Be Excited About 2007

I can hardly wait for the start of this year's baseball season. The Giants just signed Barry Zito to a seven year contract. Finally, the Giants went out and got a first class pitcher in his prime!

Barry Bonds is back for another year. Barry is only 21 home runs shy of Hank Aaron's career record of 755 homers. This will be an exciting year in McCovey Cove!

New manager Bruce Bochy should have all the tools necessary to lead the Giants into the post season! Wouldn't that make 2007 the best year in a while? I'm getting excited! Can you tell?
