People talk. It's not always good. Don't let it get you down. Sometimes it is good. Don't let it puff you up. We're probably better off just ignoring a lot of what we hear. Great chapter from Spurgeon's Lectures To My Students.
Three days with no internet access other that cell phone is about to drive me crazy. On the other hand it's been very stress free.
Great post. It always amazes me to think of how much mental suffering we endure because we are not liberated from it because either a) we don't know what God's Word says; or b) we ignore what God's Word says.
This post stuck with me for days after I read it, and I just had the opportunity to share it with a FB friend who was upset because "people talk." Thanks, Mike!
