"He Was My Pastor"

Obama's Got Game obviously when it comes to politics!

He (Obama) disputed characterizations of Wright as his mentor, saying: “He was never my spiritual adviser, he was never my spiritual mentor — he was my pastor."

WHAT?

I laughed when I first read this quote from Democratic front-runner Barack Obama. Who's he trying to fool? After thinking about this statement, I was a little saddened, there are probably lot's of people who could say the same thing. It's just sad that Wright was Obabma's pastor until it didn't make political sense. Makes you think.

Don't get me wrong. I think Obama should have found a new pastor a long time ago. Wright's rhetoric is pretty sick. I guess it didn't bother Barack until he realized it would hurt him in the polls.

Hebrews 13:17   "Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they are keeping watch over your souls, as those who will have to give an account. Let them do this with joy and not with groaning, for that would be of no advantage to you."
